STEP 5 - UNDERSTANDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN       
 
In order to get really excited about your business, you need to know how much you are going to get paid!  We get paid well!  I have put this page together for you to better understand our pay structure.
 
You have the option of how you want to be paid.  You can be paid "Advance" pay or "As-Earned" pay.  All new brokers are automatically put on "As-Earned" pay.  (Effective:  4-1-05)
 
To fully understand the difference in the "Advance" pay and the "As-Earned" pay, click on the Compensation link below.
 
If you would rather be paid "Advance," you need to go to your AmeriPlan® Back Office.  Log in.  Click on "Customer Service" then click on "Downloads" and then click on "Commission Election Form."  Fill that form out, then fax or mail that form in to the company.  Please click below for details on our Compensation Plan:

STEP 7 - LEARN & PRACTICE THE SCRIPTS
 
Now it is time to learn what you will say to your prospects.  Don't be afraid of this part.  If you have already listened to Dani Johnson (as suggested earlier), this part won't be anything to be nervous about!
 
Smile While On The Phone!

People can tell if you are enjoying what you are doing by your voice and your attitude. You need to be smiling while you are talking to them.  People don't want to start their own business with someone who isn't excited about theirs.  

Most of the work is already done for you because there are several different scripts for you to choose from.  You can find a script that you like best and print it out and use it or you can pull a little from each of the scripts and make your own.  The most important thing is that you want to feel natural when you are talking to your prospects and you want to BE YOURSELF!
